Anthology 2012

Hide Your Fires
For almost thirty years the UTS Writers' Anthology – one of the most dynamic collections of new writing published in Australia today – has showcased the emerging talent from the country’s most respected writing program.
Hide Your Fires is the 26th in a series that began in 1982 with Pink Cakes. For many students, the Anthology has marked the start of their writing careers.
This year, Hide Your Fires features the work of Eleanor Campbell, Clare Cholerton, Rosie Cintio, Stella Collier, Constantine Costi, SJ Cottier, David Croft, Lauren Curtis, Jane Downing, Lucy Faerber, Peter Francis, Amaryllis Gacioppo, James Hart, Paula Havey, Luke Johnson, Maggie Korenblium, Danny Loch, Madelaine Lucas, Ari Mattes, Daniel Rapaic O'Connell, Tess Pearson, Naomi Russo, Kate Simonian, Annabel Stafford, Jen Thompson, Neda Vanovac, Jacqui Wise.
UTS students enjoy a unique opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s most accomplished and experienced writers. The late and celebrated authors Glenda Adam and Dorothy Porter both taught at UTS, as well as Stephen Muecke, Amanda Lohrey, Jan Hutchinson, Drusilla Modjeska and Cathy Cole.
Following a long-standing tradition, the publication will be launched at the Sydney Writers' Festival, on May 18th.
