Precinct

Precinct is produced entirely by UTS journalism students. The stories are written by journalism students under the direction of the magazine's editors who do the editing, design and proof-reading. Student journalists contributing to Precinct are enrolled in Journalism I and II, Print Features, Research & Reporting, Investigative Reporting, and Advanced Print Features. The section editors are enrolled in Magazine Publishing, the end goal of which is to produce Precinct.

Precinct covers the City of Sydney (opens an external site) local government area including the CBD, Chinatown and Darling Harbour, Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Darlinghurst, Paddington, and Centennial and Moore Parks in the east, Zetland, Alexandria and Waterloo in the south, Erskineville, Newtown, Camperdown and Glebe in the west, and Pyrmont, Millers Point and The Rocks in the north and everything in between.
